Totika Kohatu is a traditional Maori competition played by stacking stones as high as possible on beaches, near rivers or other places with rocks. Totika Kohatu is a tabletop wood rock stacking game that will determine, once and for all, who has the steadiest hand and nerves of steel. Knock the stack over on your turn and lose that round of play.
Four card decks, each with over 150 questions, including Self Esteem, Life Skills and Anger for ages 8 and up plus the Early Childhood Social Emotional deck for ages 4-7. The drawstring game bag holds all four decks, the 16 Kohatu stones plus a game dice. Choking hazard not appropriate for under age 3.
- Players take turns rolling the die and balancing one rock of the rolled color on top of the stack. Knock over the stack and lose that round of play. Stack the last rock and win. Win a round by successfully stacking the 16th stone. Sounds easy until everyone realizes stacking all 16 stones is nearly impossible but believe us, it’s possible. Don’t give up. Keep practicing and build your skills.
- Although it looks simple at first, the difficulty of stacking all 16 rocks, stones and gems becomes apparent and players are gradually mesmerized by the surprising height of the stack, much more mindful of their movement around the table as the stack grows taller and excitement builds.

Plunktika - Wood Tower Marble Drop Game

How to play:

The top two levels of holes on all tower sides must have sticks straight across Plunktika to the opposite side hole. On all other levels, put at least one sticks at an angle to the other side of the tower, meaning to the hole that is left, right, above or below.

Place all marbles in the top of the tower and cover the top with the instruction card. Players take turns pulling sticks from the top two levels to begin play and when those sticks have been pulled, players take turns pulling sticks from any other level.
- Players take turns pulling colored sticks from the Plunktika Tower the top two levels to begin play and when those sticks have been pulled, players take turns pulling sticks from any other level. and asking other players the same color question from the Mindfulness card deck. But, if any marbles plunk out the bottom of the Tower, player must take the marbles and answer the question.
- After all marbles have plunked out, the player with the least number of marbles wins that round. Play with or without the question cards. Play with any other Totika card deck.

A classic game played in many cultures with slight variation. First found in India during the 6th century in America it is known as Sorry and still played almost identically to its original design.
Players in turns, race each other around the circuit to be the first to get all of their colored pegs to the HOME-Base.
Each player picks a set of colored pegs and places them in the starting Squares of the same color.
Take turns rolling the dice, each player must roll a six before moving a piece onto the track from the starting position. During the game when a player rolls a six they get another throw.
The pegs move as to the number shown on the dice .If the ball lands on one of your opponents they are knocked off and must return to the starting position. If one of your pegs lands on top of another peg of yours - it forms a block. Your block cannot be passed by any of the opponents pieces.
When a peg completes all the way round the board, it can enter the HOME column. To land in the HOME you must throw the exact number.
The winner is the first player to get all four balls into the HOME.
